Comments: re the photo of the young lady on the coil winding m/c.
She is my wife Cynthia [nee - Westwood].
I also worked in the ''Switch'', in the Machine Shop and the Fab.
We married while we both worked there, and although our mates said "it wouldn't last", we are still married 42 years on!!
Cynthia's Mam also worked in the canteen for many years -- Gwyneth Westwood.
