I joined SWS Treforest as an apprentice in 1959. I remained there for 10 years ending up in the design office with Elgar Owen, Wally Stone, Tevors Davis and Moulding. Robert Nelmes was an apprentice then. Stayed there all his working life. Ended up as Chief Engineer.
